Long race

The long race track is the common track at the border of the city of Pilsen well known from previous EC events in Pilsen. However, this year the track is a bit longer than usually and also the elevation is higher.

Map

Orange arrows: direction in laps.
Violet arrow: uphill start before entering first lap.

Men and veterans go 3 laps, other categories 2 laps. The starting line is not exactly in the same place as finish, but a few hundred meters further in the lowest point to avoid starting downhill.

There is one curve in the downhill (marked on the map by red exclamation mark), which can be get past safely also in high speed when you have enough space, so the road will be divided to narrow uphill lane and wide downhill lane. Keep your lane when going both uphill and downhill!
